Island author Kathy Birt is about to launch My Letters to the Editor Book Two with more of her letters to The Guardian editorial pages. This is the author’s twelfth book.
This Book Two covers a time span from October 2011 until January 2019 and covers politics, round-a-bouts, the environment, entertainment, or lack thereof it, drug coverage, immigrants and newcomers, dental care for senior’s, or lack thereof , and much, much more.
“As a journalist, I’ve been writing for more than forty-one years and my interest in all of the above and more has not waned. I have at least a dozen more book manuscripts in the works, on a variety of topics and I write daily,” says the author.
My Letters to the Editor Book Two will be launched on April 6 at 11 am, at Timothy’s World Coffee on Great George Street, Charlottetown. All those who were promised a complimentary book with their letter included should drop by.
There will be a limited number of the books available at this time. You can also find them at the Charlottetown Farmer’s Market book stall or purchase them directly from the author (902-367-0898).
