Local author Angel Jendrick is set to publish Fighting For Forgiveness, the second novel in her Claiming Kristopher series.
Fighting For Forgiveness continues the saga of Drew and Kris, whom readers met in Jendrick’s first novel, Claiming Kristopher. After the love of his life betrays him, Kristopher McLean finds he no longer fits into the life he wanted with Drew. As the grim streets threaten to swallow him up, Kris has to wonder—can he move forward without Drew? And does he want to? Courtney Cairns has a secret, and she’s terrified people will discover her truth. But when the truth comes out, will it set her free? After her recent breakup with Kris McLean, Drew Matheson struggles to move on. She has a chance to reclaim all that she’s lost and move toward a brighter future. But can she finally seek forgiveness for all that she’s done? Can she forgive all the wrong done to her?
“I can’t even describe how much my characters in the series mean to me,” says Jendrick. “I’ve known them since I was a teenager and just like I’ve grown they have grown. When I am writing it all out I see them as if I am watching a movie.”
“I can really see the growth in her as a writer,” says editor Colleen McKie of Savvy Fox Author Services. “Readers are going to be pleased—and in some cases maybe a bit surprised—where Angel takes her characters.”
The official launch for Fighting For Forgiveness is April 6 at 1 pm at Beanz in Charlottetown. Fighting For Forgiveness will be available for purchase at amazon.com, amazon.ca, smashwords.com and angeljendrick.com. It will also be available at Indigo in Charlottetown and Coles in Summerside.
