The 2026 Evangeline Region Agricultural Exhibition and Acadian Festival will feature two evenings of Acadian music and dancing at the Evangeline Recreation Centre in Abram-Village in September.
Kevin Arsenault (KEV), singer-songwriter and former lead vocalist of Acadian band Réveil, will perform with his own band during the Soirée des retrouvailles on September 4 from 9 pm to midnight. On September 5, beginning at 9:30 pm, the Festival will welcome the return of the Acadian group Beauxmont for the Évangéline and Gabriel Dance.
KEV recently embarked on a new solo career. Known for his energy, charisma, and stage presence, KEV presents a repertoire that blends Acadian favourites, original songs, and country classics. Sing along and dance to “Olé Olé,” “Ah! qu’il fait beau,” “Hangover,” “Tonnerre,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Wagon Wheel,” and more. KEV has previously shared the stage with 1755, Salebarbes, Les Gars du Nord, Bois-Joli, and Cayouche.
Both dances are adult-only, with licensed bar service available. Tickets are available at the door or online with a weekend pass.
