Richard WOOD & Friends: An East Coast Kitchen Party
Richard WOOD & Friends: East Coast Kitchen Party takes place at St. Paul’s in Charlottetown on January 30 at 7 pm. Doors open 6:30 pm.
The evening features Richard WOOD with Brent Chaisson and Kimberley Holmes. Special guests include KINLEY, Shane Pendergast, Ava & Lily, and Jonny Ray Arsenault, along with College of Piping Dancers and the Wood Family Fiddle Award recipient, Samuel Richard.
This year’s Richard WOOD & Friends show will mark the series’ sixth year. Wood organized the first Richard WOOD & Friends show in winter 2021 with funding assistance from Factor. Richard sought to bring his community together during the dark days of the pandemic and also to give fellow musicians, venues, and techs a much-needed payday. That first show and each one since has sold out.
