Memorial Carol Sing
Guests will have an opportunity to sing along to great seasonal music, listen to some performed pieces and honour a remembered person at St. Paul’s Church in Downtown Charlottetown on December 10 at 2 pm. Beyond singing the music of the Christmas season, attendees are able to participate by actively honouring a fondly remembered person by having their name inscribed on a star which will be placed on the Memorial Tree in the church’s sanctuary. Guests can make a donation of at the door. The donations help maintain the church’s 1936 Casavant organ. A tax receipt is issued on request. But donations are not required. The aim is chiefly that people join in fellowship and appreciate the traditional music of this time of year—a wonderful way to get into the Advent season and prepare for a thoughtful Christmastime.
