Memorial Carol Sing
The annual Memorial Carol Sing at St Paul’s in Charlottetown takes place on December 7 at 2 pm this year.
The event has become an Island tradition, featuring an hour of collective seasonal sing-along with a few performed pieces and readings. It is also an opportunity for thoughtful remembrance: attendees may honour a loved one by having that person’s name inscribed on a star and placed on the Memorial Tree in the sanctuary, with a donation at the door. Contributions help maintain the church’s 1936 Casavant organ. Donations aren’t necessary, however, as the event is for fellowship, memories, and the joy of traditional music for Advent and preparation for Christmas. Refreshments are provided.
