PEI Kidney Walks

Kidney Walks fund life-saving research, real-time support, and powerful advocacy for people living with kidney disease. Together, we’re working toward a future where every Canadian with kidney disease can access quality care and truly thrive. One in ten Canadians and one in three Indigenous people live with kidney disease. Each dollar raised supports critical programs and services including short term financial assistance. More than 70 per cent of the national organ transplant waitlist is made up of people waiting for a kidney. PEI Kidney Walks take place in Prince County on June 7, starting at Credit Union Place in Summerside at 1:30 pm, and in Queens County on June 14, starting at Simmons Sports Centre in Charlottetown at 1:30 pm. Registration for both events begins at 1 pm.
