French for the Future has announced the results of its 14th edition of the National Essay Contest.

More than 500 students participated from coast to coast, submitting an original essay on the theme “With unlimited means (time, money, resources…), how would you improve the well-being of high school students?”

Winners include Islanders Maria Arsenault of Mont Carmel, Cailey Wood of Summerside and Allison Vandaele of Montague. They were each awarded a scholarship to one of French for the Future’s 12 partner institutions.
