Charlottetown’s streets will come alive with rhythm, creativity, and community spirit as the Gold Cup Parade returns on August 21 at 10 am. 

This year’s theme, “Island Way of Life,” invites participants to showcase the sights, sounds, and spirit that make the Island so special—from strong, welcoming communities to rich culture and unmistakable coastal charm.

Leading this year’s celebration is Olympic curler Brett Gallant, the 2026 Gold Cup Parade Marshal. The Parade Marshal is an honorary title awarded to an individual who has made a meaningful and lasting impact on the Island community and serves as a strong ambassador for PEI. Gallant has represented Canada on the world stage, including at the Olympic Games, and most recently added a gold medal to his impressive list of achievements at the Milan and Cortina Winter Games. 

Applications to enter a float in the Gold Cup Parade close August 1.
