PEI PrideFest: Speed Friending

The Pride PEI Festival 2025 returns from July 25–August 3 with a week of events, including the annual PEI Pride Parade in downtown Charlottetown. 

Since 1994, Prince Edward Island’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community has proudly marched through the streets of Charlottetown, uniting as a collective voice alongside allies to advocate for 2SLGBTQIA+ equity and inclusion. 

Those wanting to meet new friends in the community can join speed friending, a facilitated event, designed to help break the ice and connect with new people at BeaconsfieldCarriage House on July 25 from 4:30–6 pm. Register at pridepei.ca.

Some of the other signature events of the Festival include the Pride PEI Festival 2025 Kickoff Social on July 25, the PEI Pride Parade and Market taking place on July 26 in downtown Charlottetown, and a Rainbow Road Party on August 2.
