PEI Home and School Federation Semi-Annual Meeting

The Prince Edward Island Home and School Federation will address child protection and how to keep children safe in today’s world at its semi-annual meeting at Central Queens Elementary School in Hunter River on October 7 at 5:45–8 pm.

The event, themed around child protection, will feature two expert voices, a senior manager from the Canadian Centre for Child Protection, located in Winnipeg, and a local Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) officer. Together, they will address how families can reduce risks, recognize warning signs, and start critical conversations with children about personal safety—while also sharing local strategies to create safer communities.

There is a fee, though students can attend for free. Everyone welcome.
