Gardening in Small Spaces
Join the City for a Gardening in Small Spaces workshop at the Victoria Park Cultural Pavillion on May 30 from 1–4 pm.
Whether you have a balcony, a small patio, or just a sunny windowsill, you can grow your own fresh food where you live. The Gardening in Small Spaces workshop is designed to help participants overcome the challenges of urban gardening and learn simple, effective techniques for growing food with limited space. Attendees will plant and take home their own container garden with a vegetable, fruit, or herb of their choosing.
Registration is not required and supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are encouraged to bring their own gardening gloves; limited quantities will be available. The workshop is free and open to all ages.
