Close to the Ground Concert Series

The Close to the Ground concert series, hosted by Fiddlers’ Sons, returns to Hillcrest United in Montague this summer with shows every Thursday at 8 pm through September 25. 

Fiddlers’ Sons, featuring Eddy Quinn, Keelin Wedge, and John B. Webster, will welcome fiddlers Fiona MacCorquodale or Cynthia MacLeod on select dates. The group also invites a different musical guest to join them each week for a night of PEI roots music and storytelling. 

This year’s guests include ECMA Award winners and nominees, Music PEI Award winners, veteran performers, and up-and-coming talent. 

The upcoming lineup includes Kelley Mooney, Keelin Wedge and Christine Cameron’s Tribute to Dolly Parton on September 11, Gordie MacKeeman and his Rhythm Boys on September 18, and the finale with with PEI’s Country Gentleman Lester MacPherson on September 25. 

Admission is at the door. There are no advance ticket sales.
