Kelley Mooney

Kelley Mooney is a singer-songwriter from Iona, PEI. She’s a little bit of everything, but country/easy listening is her home.

Her first album, Tomorrow, received 2012 Country Recording of the Year from Music PEI, and her gospel album, Still, was nominated for an ECMA in 2018. Her Christmas album, Caroling, was nominated for a Music PEI Award in 2019. Mooney has also performed at the Bluebird Café in Nashville – twice.

She is the lead singer of PEI‘s soul band, Lady Soul. Soul is her home. Then again, so is folk. So is blues. Let’s just say she moves around a lot. It could be because she seems to be able to conquer and deliver any music genre. With that voice and incredible range, Mooney seems to hit all the rights notes with intention, emotion, and honesty that each song requires with perfect delivery.

She’s been compared to Martina McBride, Joni Mitchell, and Eva Cassidy.
