2023 ECMA Winners

Five recording awards and two honourary awards for PEI

The 2023 East Coast Music Awards has announced the full list of winners for this year’s ECMAs. The East Pointers led with three ECMA wins, followed by David Myles and Kellie Loder with two wins each.

The list of PEI ECMA winners is:

Choral Recording of the Year:
Sirens – In Her Image (PEI)

Contemporary Roots Recording of the Year:
 The East Pointers – House Of Dreams (PEI)

Group Recording of the Year:
 The East Pointers – House Of Dreams (PEI)

Pop Recording of the Year:
 The East Pointers – House Of Dreams (PEI)

Rising Star Recording of the Year:
 Dylan Menzie – A Piece of Me (PEI)

Dr. Helen Creighton Lifetime Achievement Award:
Rawlins Cross (NS, NL & PEI)

Stompin’ Tom Award:
Richard Wood (PEI)

The East Coast Music Association (ECMA) is a regional collaboration of people in the music industry of Atlantic Canada that fosters, develops, and celebrates East Coast music and its artists locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. The ECMA annually produces the ECMAs, one of the top music industry events in Canada, which includes an Award Show, a Festival, an Industry Conference, and the International Export Buyers Program.
