Yesterday, Today: A Portrait of Summerside features artwork of older Summerside buildings with paintings, illustrations and commentary by Eddy Schwartz. The book also contains historical details on the buildings and insights into Summerside’s history. Eddy Schwartz will be attending and will be available to sign copies of the book.
Last year, Eptek Art & Culture Centre celebrated 40 years with the announcement of extensive renovations that were planned for the site. Over the past year, the restrooms and the entryway have been completely replaced, the exterior got a facelift, and the heating/cooling system has been replaced. This event will be a celebration of the new book, as well as a grand re-opening of the centre, with its brand new welcoming look.
Eptek Art & Culture Centre is located at 130 Heather Moyse Drive on the Summerside waterfront, adjacent to the Harbourfront Theatre.
