Islanders without access to wireless internet can now borrow portable Wi-Fi hotspots from the PEI Public Library Service. Available to library cardholders aged 16 and older, the devices can be borrowed for up to three weeks, with a limit of one per library card and one per household. Data costs are covered by the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre Foundation. Service may be limited in areas with poor wireless coverage.
