From April 28–May 9, Charlottetown transforms into a 12-day taco trail, with more than 30 restaurants unveiling limited-time creations crafted exclusively for Taco Battles 2026. Each kitchen brings its own perspective and edge, competing for the Golden Taco Trophy.
Guests can choose from pork, beef, chicken, and seafood tacos, ranging from classic builds to bold, globally inspired interpretations. Some will lean into slow-braised comfort. Others will spotlight local seafood or layered spice profiles. The variety is intentional, designed to reflect the depth and diversity of Charlottetown’s food scene.
This is more than a competition; it’s a city-wide culinary crawl. Explore new restaurants, revisit old favourites, and cast a vote for the taco that earns top honours.
