St Peters Courthouse Theatre is located in an historic building overlooking St Peter’s Bay. Once again this year the theatre is offering a variety of experiences for the summer.

St. Peter’s Courthouse Theatre invites you to join them in their new Escape Room: Fun and Games. Enter a world of fun and fancy while solving the puzzles to escape. As the clock ticks down can you avoid the distraction of all the fun and games to get out in time. This newest Escape Room is fun for the whole family. Maximum group size is 10. The Wrestling Play is on stage. Created and performed by Justin Shaw, an Island-born theatre artist trained at The National Theatre School of Canada, shows are on August 15 and 22. Charles is a discontent English teacher whose wanderlust is only matched by his deep-seated love for professional wrestling. After a life-altering decision to chase his dream of becoming a pro-wrestler, Charles steps out of his comfort zone into the great unknown.

The 10th Annual Frank Ledwell Festival will be hosted at the theatre in memory of professor, poet and storyteller Frank Ledwell. The theatre is two doors down from where he grew up at “The Bay.” Frank’s talented family is again helping the Courthouse Theatre plan a weekend of activities celebrating creativity, stories, memories, and music. Programming will begin August 16 and close with a performance by the duo of comedian Patrick Ledwell and musician Mark Haines on August 18. Artist Susan Christensen will also be on hand.
