An installation of works by Sarah Saunders is on view at the North Nook Gallery in the front window of The Arts Guild for the month of August. 

The works focus on the unopened package as an object suspended in potential, holding what remains unseen, unknowable, and invisible. Inspired by personal artifacts, Saunders uses the materials, techniques, and memories associated with these objects to create sculpture, images, and installation. Her practice transforms these objects into meditations on fragility and beauty, concerns that operate simultaneously as aesthetic choices and conceptual inquiry.

Saunders is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Argyle Shore, PEI. Her work frequently explores themes of memory, domestic artifacts, and the passage of time, and has been featured in exhibitions across the region, including at the Confederation Centre Art Gallery in Charlottetown.
