Sirène et Matelot

Sirène et Matelot is Lennie Gallant and Patricia Richard who have each been successful in their respective artistic careers, but discovered that together they have a sound that is unique and fresh and yet carries the kind of weight and wisdom that only comes with time and and experience. Lennie and Patricia chose the name of the duo from the first song they wrote together, “Sirène et Matelot”. The song came together very quickly and in many ways it captured the spirit they want to represent with their music. “Sirène et Matelot explores the yearning and desire to escape, to breathe and to make a connection with ourselves, nature, mythology, and the planet-universe itself, in the search for what can inspire us to live fully,” they explain.

They released their second album of original compositions in September 2023 at Le Grenier musique, Moncton.
