Mike Stratton

Mike Stratton has played piano and sang for many years on PEI. He plays at many venues as a solo performer as well as in the duo Stratton & Kays. Mike is an award-winning songwriter (winner of the Charlottetown 150th Year Song Contest, the Co-op Atlantic Song Contest, and the 2024 Canada Games Mascot Theme). 

He has released a vinyl-only project, a 12-song LP called The Third Set. Mike has had several compositions featured on CBC’s Mainstreet radio program over the years. He contributed a song to the all-original charity Christmas CD that featured a variety of Island artists. 

Mike has co-written songs with Gord Deppe of the Spoons and David Rashed of Haywire. As a side venture, he has written and produced over 60 jingles for businesses in PEI, the Maritimes and the US.
