Maya Márquez

Maya is a passionate woman with a background in Latin music but is well-versed in other genres and styles. With her excellent ear and bass, Maya came to PEI through Holland College to a community that welcomed her with open arms. Maya has performed with various artists, in numerous venues and festivals, multiple genres, and for thousands of audiences all while completing her degree in music performance demonstrating professionalism and a sense of belonging that makes her a very well-rounded performer.

Passionate about creating a musical impact, she deeply believes that her work is centered around supporting the bands and artists she plays for musically and personally. Her musical skills combined with her communication skills make her the perfect candidate to be the bass player any artist wants to have by their side on stage or in the studio.
