Brielle Ansems

Brielle Ansems’ indie pop-folk sound is a lyric-centred and emotionally charged experience. Her debut album, This New Hurricane, was released in March 2020 and was commended for its artisanship and production value, earning Brielle a total of five 2021 Music PEI Award nominations and taking home Pop Recording of the Year. 

Brielle’s 2022 sophomore release, Still Awake, was nominated for multiple 2023 Music PEI Awards and explores the realities of chronic depression and anxiety. Spanning from modern roots to earthy pop, her work is a constant spotlight on her advocacy for mental wellness and compassion in all things.
