Down East Plein Air
Art & Soul and the Municipality of Murray River present Down East Plein Air, a three-day festival from June 26–28, bringing together artists and art lovers for a relaxed, outdoor creative experience where participants can create and preserve memories through art inspired by this unique red-soiled province.
Whether attendees paint, sketch, collect art, or simply appreciate creativity, the festival offers an opportunity to connect, be inspired, and enjoy the natural beauty of southeastern PEI.
Artists of all levels are welcome, from beginners and hobbyists to professionals. Registered artists are eligible to participate in the Pre-Festival Plein Air Workshop and/or the Art Show (to exhibit, sell, and/or win awards), if they choose.
Finished works, whether for sale or not, will be on display June 26–28 at the Murray River Community Centre (1084 MacInnis St) and will be displayed as artwork comes in each day. Artists will have the opportunity to sell their work and compete for prizes.
Admission to the centre is free.
