30 Poems in 30 Days Self-Directed Writing Program facilitated by Julie Bull
Julie Bull is facilitating a month-long series of writing 30 poems in 30 days for anyone looking to commit to a daily writing practice and to challenge themselves by exploring their poetic side.
The event begins April 1 at 5 pm (ADT) with a virtual event, allowing participants to join from anywhere. Participants will receive a pdf with prompts, activities, and tips to guide their writing. Another virtual session will be held on April 14 at 5 pm (ADT) to check in and reinvigorate the daily practice. Participants will also get access to a private Facebook poetry group where they can share their daily creations, ask questions, and motivate and encourage themselves and fellow poetry pals.
Note: this is a self-directed writing program. It is an opportunity to connect with other poetry enthusiasts, hone one’s writing skills, and have fun exploring the world of poetry.
Facilitator Julie Bull is an award-winning poet and spoken word artist who has self-published two solo poetry collections and three community anthologies since 2020. They have performed at dozens of events, led numerous workshops, and are the co-founder of Queer Poetry Club in Charlottetown.
