“Marrying Me”

KINLEY released her new single “Marrying Me” on July 19. The song was produced by Corey LeRue.
“Where I live I hear church bells everyday and it got me thinking about marriage and all the weddings I have played for and all the people I know who are married,” shares KINLEY. “I never imagined the reality of marriage past the glamour. That’s when I came up with the chorus of the song. My reality hasn’t included marriage and it may or may not be in the cards but it is no longer an expectation because my reality is a life filled with love and rich experience. I’m marrying me.”
Corey LeRue is a multi-platinum, JUNO Award-winning producer, songwriter, remixer and engineer. In May 2024, at the East Coast Music Awards in Charlottetown, PEI, KINLEY met LeRue in the hallway just after he won for Producer of the Year. As a fan of him and his work with Neon Dreams, she slipped her latest album in his bag as he was leaving to go back home. Later that night she got a nice message from LeRue asking if she had any demos she would like him to work on. The next day she sent him “Marrying Me,” and within a week, LeRue had produced, mixed, and mastered it, preparing it for release.
