Opening October 19 in the Confederation Centre Art Gallery (CCAG), Charlottetown, is Look slowly and all that moves, a photo-based exhibition from Alberta artist Tyler Los-Jones. This solo exhibition of new work is informed by Los-Jones’ experience on an environmental research residency in Prince Edward Island, where borders between land and sea are in constant flux.
The images and objects in this exhibition are focused on the landscape and nature of PEI, how we experience it, and how culture determines our sense of the natural world. Works will be hung in intriguing ways, on uniquely-designed structures that respond to the characteristics of the gallery space.
See Look slowly and all that moves in the CCAG between 9 am to 5 pm daily. Admission is by donation. This project is supported by the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.
