La Veillée au Village

Dinner theatre in Abram-Village this summer

The cast of Veillée au Village

La Veillée au Village 2026 dinner theatre features a group of professional performers serving up a blend of music and comedy following a four-course meal. This popular show takes the stage at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village on select dates from July 8–September 1.

The cast—returning from last year—includes fiddler Anastasia DesRoches, singers and multi-instrumentalists Dawson Arsenault and Caroline Bernard, bass player Rémi Arsenault, drummer Yves Arsenault, and guitarist Jason Burbine. Rémi Arsenault is also the musical and artistic director, with Albert Arsenault and Hélène Arsenault-Bergeron (both formerly of Barachois) contributing to the comedy sketches.

The evening begins with the first three courses of the meal before the show launches into sketches filled with colourful characters, competitive spirits, and offbeat situations. Strong personalities clash, tease one another, and create memorable moments. After the laughter comes Acadian music, featuring fiddle, accordion, and catchy songs. Following dessert, a second set continues with more comedy and Acadian kitchen party music.

Regular performances will take place July 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, and 29; August 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, and 26; and September 1. Special performances on July 23 and August 20 will feature the comedy duo Mélina pi Gélina, Caroline Bernard’s family (July 23), and additional guests (August 20).

Tickets must be reserved or purchased in advance online at villagemusical.ca or in person at the Village musical acadien reception desk.
