PEI musicians Tiantian Liu and Vivian Qiao released their debut eight-track album, Island Dreams: Landscapes in Sound, on July 1.

Inspired by the Island’s landmarks, this album of original violin and piano music reflects the beauty and memorable moments of PEI. The original CD cover painting captures the Island landscape, with both instruments creatively incorporated into the artwork.

Tiantian Liu (violin) and Vivian Qiao (piano) are two young musicians who grew up on PEI. They have developed strong musical foundations through more than 10 years of study. Over the past two years, they have performed violin and piano music across PEI at Victoria Row, Founders’ Food Hall, restaurants, and many weddings.

Island Dreams: Landscapes in Sound was recorded in the audio recording studio at the Charlottetown Library in June 2026. Physical copies are available by contacting the artists through Instagram @violin_piano_duet, with local pickup and shipping available, or by purchasing copies at live performances. The album is also available on all major streaming platforms.
