Home and Away is the title that Malpeque artists Kathleen and Robert Milner have given to their Sixty Days of Fame exhibit featured at MacNaught History Centre and Archives during February and March.
The show will consist of watercolours and acrylics. “Home” covers paintings done by the couple since moving to Prince Edward Island in 2010. “Away” covers paintings created from their world travels throughout countries such as England, Scotland, Wales, the United States and the Caribbean.
Though the MacNaught show is one of many shows over the years for Robert, it will be the first show in which Kathleen, well known for her photography work, exhibits her paintings. She says that she is excited to be doing so and the couple are referring to the show as a “double retrospective.”
The show will be open to the public, from February 1 to March 31, Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is free. MacNaught History Centre and Archives is located at 75 Spring Street, Summerside.
