Hand Me Down Guitar

Cindy Penny Vanneste of Beach Point, PEI, released her new CD, Hand Me Down Guitar.

The project features a collection of heartfelt songs written by Cindy and performed by PEI artists. The music was recorded by Jon Matthews at The Sound Mill.

“This collection isn’t just about my dad’s guitar, but it’s also my story of how music inspired my life from Beach Point to Nashville and many other places in between,” says Cindy. “I owe so much to the incredible voices of some of the Island’s best artists who breathed life into my lyrics and gave each song the painted picture I had hoped for.”

Featured vocalists include Brian J. Dunn, Joey Kitson, Jon Matthews, Keira Loane, Kelley Mooney, Lawrence Maxwell, Maxine MacLennan, Norman Stewart and Waylon Hurley. Contributing musicians include Courtney Hogan Chandler, Ed Ringwald, Iain MacInnes, Jeffrey Bazett-Jones, Johnny Ross, Jon Matthews, Keelin Wedge, Maxine MacLennan, Natalie Williams Calhoun, Norman Stewart, Paul Chapman, Shane Guse, Troy Engle and Waylon Hurley.
