PEI and the Government of Canada are investing nearly $15 million over five years to provide free home insulation for low- to moderate-income homeowners through the Canada Greener Homes Affordability Program. Eligible homeowners receive insulation materials, installation, and expert guidance at no cost. To qualify, applicants must have an annual household income of $55,000 or less, own and live in their primary residence, and receive approval before any work begins. Applications can be submitted at any Access PEI location. The program helps reduce energy costs, improve home comfort, and lower emissions. Funding is available until 2030.
