SUMMARY:PEI Gran Fondo 2026
DESCRIPTION:The PEI Gran Fondo returns to the Island for a two-day event
  on August 28–29\, beginning from the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown
  at 8 am. It is the first Gran Fondo in Atlantic Canada\, enjoyed by rid
 ers around the world since 2014.\n\n\n\nThe combination of scenery and c
 oast-to-coast Gran and Medio Fondo rides\, combined with timed climb and
  sprint sections\, will offer a challenge to riders of all levels over t
 wo days\, at a beautiful time of year.\n\n\n\nOn August 28\, the event f
 eatures three ride lengths and difficulty options\, and lunch is provide
 d.\n\n\n\nOn August 29\, there will be a 150 km Gran Fondo and a 100 km 
 Medio Fondo to suit participants’ interests and level of training. The
 re will be an opportunity to stop for lunch and nutrition zones are incl
 uded. After the Gran and Medio Fondos\, participants can gather for a po
 st-ride meal and entertainment at the PEI Brewing Company.\n\n\n\nThere 
 will be provided lead and support vehicles to assist with traffic and sa
 fe passage.
