DESCRIPTION:New Brunswick rock trio Marian takes the stage at the Sports

 released its sophomore record Play Louder\, Hit Harder in May via Monopo
 lized Records. Weaving together themes of adulthood’s relentless grind
  and the uncertainty of what lies ahead\, the album is gritty\, electrif
 ying\, and emotionally charged\, launching the band into their next chap
 ter with a sharper\, grungier edge and reinvigorated sound.&nbsp\;\n\n\n
 \nAt its core\, Play Louder\, Hit Harder explores the tension of wanting
  freedom while feeling behind on life’s expected milestones\, ultimate
 ly embracing the messy and awkward parts of growing up.\n\n\n\nThe album
  follows Marian’s celebrated 2022 debut\, Hit Record\, which garnered 
 a Music NB Award for Song of the Year Award and an ECMA Rising Star Reco
 rding of the Year Award nomination.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nThe band is a creative
  partnership between Dylan Ward (vocals/guitar) and Jerry-Faye Ward (voc
 als/bass) who split the songwriting evenly. Together\, their voices push
  the band into new sonic and emotional territory\, balancing themes both
  deeply personal and universally resonant. Rounding out the sound is Ste
 fan Westner (drums).
