World AIDS Day

Every year, on December 1, the world commemorates World AIDS Day. People around the world unite to show support for people living with and affected by HIV and to remember those who lost their lives to AIDS. This year, PEERS Alliance and Pride PEI are hosting an event on December 1 from 5-7 pm at PEERS Alliance Inc, 250B Queens St. in Charlottetown, to commemorate World AIDS Day by unveiling a mural that will honor the legacy of their organization’s predecessor, AIDS PEI. The mural will not only honor their shared history but also contribute to the vibrant and inclusive atmosphere of the PEERS Alliance office, which serves as an important hub for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Prince Edward Island.
