The Grand Tour: Timeless Country Classics

The Grand Tour is a timeless journey through the heart of classic country music, taking the stage at the Scott MacAulay Performing Arts Centre in Summerside on June 14. Showtime is 7:30 pm. This show is guaranteed to transport audiences back to the golden eras of the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s with an electrifying performance by an ensemble of talented musicians performing hits by some of the greats such as George Jones, Vern Gosdin, Conway Twitty, Jim Reeves and many more. Front and center is the charismatic Jamie Matthews on lead vocals, channelling the soulful voices that defined the genre. Accompanying Jamie is an all-star lineup including the incredibly skilled Louise Arsenault on fiddle, Tanya Bernard on piano, Troy McArthur on steel guitar, banjo and harmonica, Danny MacNevin on lead guitar, Kurk Bernard on bass and Wayne Robichaud on drums. With seamless collaboration, this group not only recreates the iconic hits of the four greatest decades of country music, but also brings a fresh energy and passion to each performance.
