Tantalizing Tales: A Night of Erotica

Tantalizing Tales: A Night of Erotica will be held at the Arts Guild in Charlottetown on May 14 from 7–9 pm. The Guildy Pleasures event will include sensual poetry, spoken word, burlesque, live painting, and playful audience participation.

Produced by local artist Julie Bull, the cabaret-style evening will feature Island performers Tanaka Kativhu, Andrea Avery, a.s. alexandra, and Nicola Lewis Kemp. Audience members are encouraged to bring their own “spicy” poems for a chance to share them on stage.

The evening will also mark the launch of Bull’s new poetry collection, on the tip of my tongue: erotic poems.

Additional performances include burlesque by Breanna “Sunnie Peaches,” movement and hoop artistry by Yiggie, and live painting by Justine. The artwork created during the evening will be available for purchase, with proceeds donated to the PEI Rape and Sexual Assault Centre.
