She, Is Me

She, Is Me will be on stage at Florence Simmons Performance Hall in Charlottetown on July 26 at 7:30 pm.

This theatrical dance show displays diverse perspectives of women in the dance industry, trying to find balance through the chaos of reality. Through movement, song, and spoken word, audiences will witness each dancer’s journey, highlighting their uniqueness, similarities, struggles, and triumphs, through a combination of dance styles that best represent their story.

Written and directed by Dawn Ward-Dames, She, Is Me was originally presented at the 2025 Island Fringe Festival in Charlottetown.

While suitable for all ages, the performance references grief, misogyny, and both physical and mental health struggles, which may be distressing. This content also references growth, power, and inclusion.
