Queerly Canadian – A Late Night Drag Revue
After an ecstatically received debut last June, Queerly Canadian – A Late Night Drag Revue is making its highly anticipated return to The Guild in Charlottetown on September 11–13 at 9 pm.
Bigger, bolder, and more irreverent than ever, this unapologetically queer and outrageously funny cabaret celebrates Canadian culture through a super-gay lens in ways both familiar and fresh for queer-folks and their allies from coast to coast to coast.
Starring acclaimed drag artists Didi d’Edada (Jay Whitehead) and her only begotten son Castrati (Kathy Zaborsky), Queerly Canadian is a hilarious, high-energy late-night revue featuring campy parodies, Canadian nostalgia, sketch comedy, and powerhouse live vocals, all served with elbows fully erect.
Following its June success, the show returns for an encore run, promising fresh numbers, guest appearances by local performers, and even more over-the-top Canadiana. From Dressup to Degrassi, this is the cross country check-in not to be missed.
