Pride vs. Prejudice: The Delwin Vriend Story

Adult members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community can drop in to PEERS Alliance headquarters, (250B Queen St, Charlottetown) on June 19 at 6 pm for a free screening of Pride vs. Prejudice: The Delwin Vriend Story.

Directed by Darrin Hagen, the documentary tells the true story of one man’s fight for equality and the landmark Supreme Court decision that changed Canada forever.

Presented by PEERS Alliance in partnership with the Edmonton Community Foundation and the Edmonton Queer History Project, this screening celebrates the resilience and contributions of the local 2SLGBTQIA+ community and creates space for meaningful conversations about justice and inclusion.
