PEI Kazoo Choir

For those who would like to learn how to play the kazoo and have fun performing songs with fellow kazoo enthusiasts, there is now a Kazoo Choir to join. The choir meets on the first and third Tuesday evening of every month at the Lefurgey Cultural Centre in Summerside from 6:30–8 pm. No experience necessary. Attendees will receive a kazoo, learn how to play it, and practice a few songs with fellow kazoo enthusiasts. Each night will consist of jamming on the kazoo and learning new songs. Occasionally there will be a musical guest to provide the choir with some tips and tricks. For those interested, there may be opportunities for public performances outside of the Tuesday night meet-ups (although not required). The founding members will be there for encouragement and guidance in a friendly and fun atmosphere. The cost to join is small (and includes the provision of a kazoo), with a very modest fee after that for every class attended. This covers photocopying expenses and other incidentals. If cost is a barrier, just inform the facilitators – nobody will be turned away. For more information or to register, email  PEIKazooChoir@gmail.com
