Natal Day Weekend Celebration
The City of Charlottetown will celebrate its 168th birthday with free, family-friendly Natal Day events taking place August 3–6. The public is invited to take part in activities, including an outdoor pancake breakfast, youth and older adults programming, a birthday party for Charlottetown, and more. On August 6, start Sunday morning off right at an outdoor yoga class at 9 am or a fun, high-energy workout class at 10 am at Confederation Landing. Join Charlie Town for a fun afternoon in the same location. Activities will include bounce houses, mini putt, face painting, balloon twisting, a photo booth, and more. The Parkdale Sherwood Lions Club will also be serving free hotdogs, cupcakes, and ice cream sandwiches (while quantities last) beginning at 1 pm.
Also taking place during Natal Day weekend celebrations are the Island Fringe Festival, August 2-6, Sounds of the Waterfront music series, daily, and Downtown Farmers Market, August 6.
