Live Auction Fundraiser for Briggy Bum Farm Equine Rescue

A live auction fundraiser for Briggy Bum Farm Equine Rescue takes place on September 19 at the Cavendish Wellness Centre. Doors open at 4 pm for viewing and registration, and the sales start at 5 pm.

The live auction is to help raise funds for some new infrastructure on the farm that is required, and to help fund new horses coming in. There will also be a bake sale, door prizes, and a 50/50 draw. Sales can be made in cash or e-transfer.

Since 2018, Briggy Bum Farm Equine Rescue has been home to 21 horses. The goal is to let them heal and move on to a new home. The farm operates on a volunteer basis and has a small second-hand thrift store that is fed by four donation boxes in Stratford and Montague.
