L’Association touristique Acadie ÎPÉ (ATAÎPÉ) Annual General Meeting

L’Association touristique Acadie ÎPÉ (ATAÎPÉ) invites all its members and anyone interested in Acadian and Francophone tourism to attend its full-day annual general meeting on October 18 from 9:30 am–3:30 pm in the library of l’École Saint-Augustin in Rustico.

In addition to the business meeting, the day will feature a lunchtime conference by a special guest, various roundtable presentations, and discussions on the development of PEI Acadian and Francophone tourism products.

Provincial Tourism Minister Zack Bell will be the keynote speaker at the AGM luncheon. Consultant Tanya Gallant from Cameleon Productions will also lead a panel discussion on tourism marketing and new product development, from 11 am–3:30 pm. Other guests will take turns giving presentations before or after lunch, including Joeleen Larade, project manager at the Centre de la Mi-Carême in Chéticamp, Nova Scotia, who will share the center’s experiences, successes, and challenges. Jason Ouellette, general manager of Le Moniteur Acadien newspaper, CJSE radio and Plus 90 radio in New Brunswick, will talk about promotional opportunities, and Jocelyn Arsenault, consultant in digital strategies and innovation, will talk about his more than 20 years of experience supporting businesses and organizations in their digital transformation and innovation based on artificial intelligence (AI).

There will be draws for door prizes, mainly tickets to activities offered by tourist attractions that are members of the ATAÎPÉ.
