Know Your Rights Legal Presentation

The PEI Human Rights Commission and the Law Society of PEI will give a free legal information presentation about individuals’ rights protected under PEI’s Human Rights Act at the Summerside Library on June 17 and at the Law Society of PEI in Charlottetown on June 25. Both sessions are from 6–8 pm.

Topics include what discrimination is under the law, which characteristics are protected (e.g., race, gender, disability), what the PEI Human Rights Commission can do for individuals, and how to file a human rights complaint.

Registration is required as spots are limited.
