
Keynote Talk at Atlantic Region Philosophers’ Association Conference
Are We Losing Our Touch? Esteemed philosopher, public intellectual, novelist, and poet, Professor Richard Kearney (Boston College) will deliver the keynote talk at the 2023 meeting of the Atlantic Region Philosophers’ Association (ARPA) Conference. Prof. Kearney has previously served as a Visiting Professor at University of College Dublin, the University of Paris (Sorbonne), the Australian Catholic University, and the University of Nice. He is the author of more than 24 books in philosophy and literature, including three novels and a volume of poetry. Prof. Kearney’s talk, entitled “Are We Losing Our Touch?,” will be delivered remotely on October 13 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. All are welcome to join in the new Performing Arts Centre at UPEI for the occasion.
