Island Nature Trust: Urban Green Spaces Walk and Talk

Interested in learning more about the importance of urban green spaces? Have questions about the benefits that they provide to our communities? Join the Island Nature Trust for a walk at Fullerton’s Creek Conservation Park in Stratford on March 14 from 1–3 pm and hear from INT’s very own Kaylee Busniuk (land stewardship manager) about all the wonderful things these spaces have to offer. All registered participants will be emailed the trip details the week before the event. If there’s any questions, do not hesitate to contact Island Nature Trust at 782-377-1939. Note that the event information is subject to change. Any changes to events will be shared with registrants. In the case of event cancellation, INT will contact registrants using the contact information provided. Before leaving for each event, check the point of contact for any last-minute updates. When it comes to weather cancellations, safety is the number one concern. Island Nature Trust will be watching the weather closely and will be committed to making a call and informing registrants with as much notice as possible. However, keep in mind that weather can be unpredictable and last-minute cancellations cannot always be avoided. Many thanks go out to the Town of Stratford and the Stratford Watershed for supporting this walk and allowing the use of their trail system.
