Island Jubilee Old Time Music Radio Show

The Island Jubilee Old Time Radio Music Show’s 2025–26 season finale will take place on April 19 at 2 pm at the Florence Simmons Performance Hall in Charlottetown. Special guests include PEI artists Scott MacKay, Keira Loane, and Blake Crockett.

Following a season of sold-out performances celebrating country and East Coast musical heritage, the finale promises an afternoon of heartfelt country music, stories, and Island pride. Backed by the Jubilee All-Star Band, the show captures the warmth and charm that have made Island Jubilee a beloved regional tradition.

Rooted in the golden era of 1950s country, Scott MacKay brings a sound rich in nostalgia and storytelling. His ECMA Award-winning album Stupid Cupid features ten original tracks blending twangy Telecasters, pedal steel, and witty lyricism. A multiple Calgary Music Award nominee and CBC Searchlight contender, MacKay will perform songs from the album along with some of his favourite Hank Williams tunes.

With roots in both PEI and Cape Breton, Keira Loane is a standout voice in Atlantic Canadian country. Known for her powerful vocals and heartfelt songwriting, she performs solo and with her band, Keira Loane & the Commons. Her recent single “Blueberry Jam” has been warmly received, and her debut EP Last Words & Love Letters is set for release later this year.

Blake Crockett is the lead singer, rhythm guitarist, and songwriter for the country rock band Old Stone Station. He has shared the stage with Janet McGarry and Wildwood and now performs with the rising bluegrass group Bad Hoss. Raised on classic country storytelling, he brings honesty, heart, and emotion to his performances.

Representatives from the QEH Foundation will be in attendance to present the guitar raffle prize and accept the funds raised throughout the season.

All performances are recorded for broadcast on Tantramar 107.9FM CFTA, and previous recordings will be available at tantramarfm.ca.

Tickets are available at ticketpro.ca, in person at the box office, or by phone at 1-888-311-9090.
