Indigenous Artisans Christmas Market

The Indigenous Artisans Christmas Market is returning to the Confederation Centre of the Arts on November 25 from 10 am-5 pm, as a Charlottetown Christmas Festival signature event. This free event will bring over 50 talented Indigenous artists from across the territory of Epekwitk together to share their history, art and culture. Visitors can expect to see beautiful quillwork, paintings, beaded earrings and jewelry, baskets, Christmas decorations, apparel, books, and so much more. The Indigenous Artisans Christmas Market is funded by the Government of Canada’s Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and Innovation PEI. The event is made possible by the support of the Mi’kmaq Confederacy of PEI and Discover Charlottetown. The Indigenous Tourism Association of PEI invites everyone to take in this unique Indigenous experience by admiring art, learning about cultures, and supporting local Indigenous artisans. For a chance to win a $250 gift card to the Indigenous PEI online store, follow @IndigenousPEI on Facebook and Instagram.
