Great George Street Brass Band: Blast of Brass 2026

The Great George Street Brass Band presents Blast Of Brass on May 11 at Zion Presbyterain in Charlottetown.

The Island’s only full brass band, will feature brass favourites such as “76 Trombones,” “Halifax Citadel,” and “Bohemian Rhapsody” as well as the premier of a new arrangement “Same Ocean” by Nova Scotia composer Adam Taylor.

There will also be several selections by the Zion choir to help them raise funds for a new church elevator. Doors open at 6:30 pm with the concert at 7 pm. Admission is by voluntary donation at the door.
